St John’s serves the parish of Great Horton, where many different communities live side by side. We seek to live out the words of Jesus when he commanded us to “love your neighbour as you love yourself.” We believe that if all the people of Great Horton seek to live by the same principle, many problems in our community would be greatly reduced or disappear altogether. We are especially concerned about poverty in all its forms.
